Human Lefty-A quantitates human Lefty-A in serum, plasma, supernatant. Lefty1 acts as a regulator of Lefty2 and NODAL as the lack of the former resulted in bilateral expression of nodal, lefty2 and Pitx2 (a homeobox gene normally expressed on the left side and blocks the signal for leftness).
