Goat anti DDB1 antibodyrecognizes human DNA damage-binding protein 1, also known as DDB p127 subunit, DNA damage-binding protein a, Damage-specific DNA-binding protein 1, HBV X-associated protein 1, UV-damaged DNA-binding protein 1, XPE-binding factor or Xeroderma pigmentosum group E-complementing protein. DDB1 is an 1140 amino acid ~ kDA cytoplasmic protein that translocated to the nucleus following UV irradiation and subsequently accumulates at the site of DNA damage wjere it forms part of the UV-DDB complex and is involved in the nucleotide-excision repair of DNA following damage caused by ultraviolet radiation.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
