Goat anti Human apolipoprotein L1 antibodyrecognises an epitope within the C-Terminal (CT) region of human Apolipoprotein L1 (APOL1), a secreted high density lipoprotein and member of the apolipoprotein L family, which interacts with apolipoprotein A-I (APOA1) in plasma.Two isoforms of APOL1 have been identified, which may play a role in lipid exchange and transport throughout the body, and possibly in the reverse transport of cholesterol from peripheral cells to the liver.Goat anti Human apolipoprotein L1 is expected to recognise both reported isoforms of human APOL1.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
