Mouse anti Human neuron specific enolase antibody, clone 5G10recognizes human neuron specific enolase (NSE), also known as enolase 2, gamma enolase, 2-phospho-D-glycerate hydro-lyase or Neural enolase. NSE is a 433 amino acid ~47 kDa protein, a glycolytic enzyme that is expressed in neuronal tissue and is released as a result of damage to neural tissue. An increase in serum levels of NSE has been found in patients with tumours such as neuroblastoma.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
