靶标信息Two distinct signaling pathways activate the host innate immunity against viral infection. One pathway is reliant on members of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family while the other uses the RNA helicase RIG-I as a receptor for intracellular viral double-stranded RNA as a trigger for the immune response. VISA is a mitochondrial membrane protein that was identified as a critical component in the IFN-b signaling pathways that recruits IRF-3 to RIG-I, leading to its activation and that of NF-kappa-B. VISA is also thought to interact with other components of the innate immune pathway such as the TLR adapter protein TRIF, TRAF2 and TRAF6. VISA also interacts with the IKK-a, IKK-b and IKK-iota kinases through its C-terminal region. Cleavage of this region by the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) protease allows HCV to escape the host immune system. At least three isoforms of VISA are known to exist.

SETD1B Antibody (PA5-40072) in WB Western Blot was performed on whole cell lysates from mouse fibroblasts (NIH3T3) and embryonic stem cells (E14Tg2a) using a SETD1B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-40072) at a dilution of 1:500 in BSA/PBS-Tween. The molecular weight marker (kDa) is shown on the left; the location of the protein of interest is indicated on the right. SETD1B Antibody (PA5-40072) in ELISA To determine the titer, an ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of the anti-mouse Setd1b antibody (Product # PA5-40072). The plates were coated with a mix of the peptides used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution, the titer of the antibody was estimated to be 1:8,400.
