靶标信息This gene encodes a protein which contains multiple domains including a CXXC zinc finger, three PHD zinc fingers, two FY-rich domains, and a SET domain. The SET domain is a conserved C-terminal domain that characterizes proteins of the MLL family. This gene is ubiquitously expressed in adult tissues. It is also amplified in solid tumor cell lines, and may be involved in human cancer. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported for this gene, however, the full length nature of the shorter transcript is not known.

MLL4 Antibody (PA5-40071) in WB Western blot was performed on whole cell lysates from mouse embryonic stem cells (E14Tg2a) with the anti-mouse Mll4 antibody (Product # PA5-40071), diluted 1:500 in PBS-Tween containing 5% skimmed milk. The location of the protein of interest (~ 600 kDa) is indicated on the right; the location of the 500 kDa MW marker is shown on the left. Cells homozygous for the targeted mll4 allele (-/-) show a complete loss of Mll4 protein, whereas the Mll4 protein was detected in flp-recombined ES cells (F/F) and heterozygously targeted ES cells (+/-). MLL4 Antibody (PA5-40071) in ELISATo determine the titer, an ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of the anti-mouse Mll4 antibody (Product # PA5-40071). The wells were coated with the peptides used for immunisation of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution (Figure 1), the titer of the antibody was estimated to be 1:15,000.
